I'm missing a clip for my air filter box ('86 box for 2.1) not sure how it went missing.
Does anyone have a junker air box they can pop one off of? I'd hate to buy new when it's such an easy part to recycle.
Cheers! _________________ 86' Syncro 2.2 Vanistan, WBXhaust, ski-pole shifter for +11hp |

I have a DPO box since I am posted here for a military assignment, maybe that's cheaper?

If it turns out to still be crazy spendy, I'll look around here. There aren't many t3's on the road and the Scandinavians are doing their best to keep them running _________________ 86' Syncro 2.2 Vanistan, WBXhaust, ski-pole shifter for +11hp |

The OP said he was looking for a clip for his "air filter box".
The number quoted, 321-819-059, is for the cabin ventilation air distribution box, that is to say the clips that hold the two halves together (no filter normally installed).
For the engine air intake filter holder, in case that is what the OP is looking for, the reference would be:
Clip, air filter box, 867-129-797
They can be found here:

Mine were quite corroded.

I have some of these that came off my original diesel. They appear to be longer than the one pictured. If anyone needs them, PM me. _________________ Vanagon ’83 diesel AAZ w/Giles injection, 5spd 4.57R&P+TBD and a '78 diesel Rabbit |
