If you want the best, and I do mean the best battery you can buy, look here: http://www.odysseybattery.com/about.html. These guys make these batteries out of 99% pure lead and their manufactured in such a way that there is more of it in there. The factory his here in Missouri and I have toured it. They are the no. 1 supplier of batteries to the military. I have had one now for almost 12 years in 2 different daily drivers and it still is going. They can usually be bought at Batteries Plus and the website has a dealer locator.
Edit: Just noticed that hill posted about these guys too. He is right on. They were featured on the Modern Marvels TV show a few years ago. _________________ air-cooled or nothing for me

They'll be back in six months doing it all over again, only this time they'll have to find new suppliers since the old ones just got screwed. _________________ nothing |

Could be but that recycling plant in Vernon has been spewing lead and arsenic all over Vernon for 90 years even though they have only owned it since 2000 - and with the city council gone in that pension and salary scam in 2011, there is no one to protect them from DTSC so by the time they clean up what may become a super fund site, I doubt if anyone with money will want to come close for awhile until they and the state work things out in Vernon. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |

as a followup. Although I said we would not buy an Interstate because the CJ7 warping them, Consumers rated one high and we went with that one after we found nothing else acceptable. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |
