I'm in. I've got two different pumpkin ales I'll be bottle next week and should be ready to drink by the 24th.

Also, do you have any of the good mushrooms around? Very Happy I want some of those kind.

Send me the GPS coordinates.

Heyo everyone,

Glad to hear we have some interested parties! It is by all mean kid (Kidd) friendly. I'm not sure how crazy or chill it will be, but I'm planning on making some space for quiet camping. The land is currently quite a blank slate so there is room for some imaginative projects from 4wd trails to alien landing zones! We will likely have a new driveway built in the next couple of weeks so the access road might change but it will be 2wd friendly either way. I'll put together a more thourgh info package to pm out when the is closer.

I'm excited to have a barrel of laughs, it's been a long summer!
Cheers,
D

I am looking for a slider door for 85-91. Prefer white but any color will do. Please PM me if you have one or know someone who does.

Thanks

Hello lady's and gents,

We have closed on our property! After having an excellent time at vanJ's campout we are going to open our grounds for Oktoberfest VansNW. Come one come all for our first group campout on our new homesite. We snatched up 24 acres of land in Yamhill Oregon and want to break it in with some fun times.

It's rural, it's bare land, it's beautiful! No Syncro trails yet, but they are on the way.

October 23rd- 25th we will be hosting whom ever would like to come out, so don't be shy. Bring your favorite fresh hopped beer, pumpkin spiced or fall dark beer and help us toast to a bright future. If your game for Syncro Safari? Get some help decorating your van and caravan to Urban Safari '15

We have some trails, views and tons of firewood. Possible backhoe lessons and fun projects. Possibly a mushroom foraging trip!
Here's a teaser picture. Hope to see you there....

Congrats on the land purchase!

Jess and I will be able to make it if there's room available. Are other brand vans ok to bring? Tenting ok?

Thanks for hosting Dustin.

I didn't take pics. But took the van over Lolo pass today for some dirty down hilling in Post Canyon. The van champed and the biking was muddy really an awesome day!

http://www.poseidonsbeard.com/descendonbend/

Anyone going to descend on Bend this weekend? The website says registration is closed but if you contact them there is probably room for more.

Looks fun, I'd like to tag along if a caravan is being formed...I honestly can't commit but I'd change my plans to check this out!

Yeah, that was my line of thought as well. I am hoping the secrecy is more tongue and cheek, and they do it like they are to keep things from getting out of hand (eg, knowing roughly how many people to expect and prepare accordingly rather than rolling up expecting 20-30 rigs and then finding yourself in an overlander's Woodstock..).

What color and type of vanagon do you have so I can spot you when I am there. I have a dove blue tin tip syncro with big tires and custom bumpers. It will be nice to meet you.
