Interesting that this was done in June according to the Westfalia receipt with a number so low an my 4/65 number is around 900.

How were these numebers counted. Did they start from zero, year by year?

For Split window Westfalia's they started at zero and continued thru the years of production (65-67).

Two pics of the bus, as it was stored away. have a look at the roof rack. It was modified, to fit on the front of the car.

the bus once had an accident. the left side and the left rear corner were hit. All the dents were filled with bondo

Ok, Im sure its fully dismantled. Hey KWZ - you need to get that thing runnin brother! Wink

Although a later type BN4 in the below thread - it does show similar on what it takes to restore one. Yours is a little trickier being earlier as it has two pump diaphragms that get hard over time causing it not to work.

I totally lost track of this thread. I am sorry, I should have continued that.
Arvid finished the bus in 2017, and now uses it for camping in summer. He bought new fabric from BBT in Belgium for the mattresses and left away theheadbanger cabinet. Unfortunately I do not have any actual pics of the interior.
