If you have a CA SMOG-legal Subaru Conversion that was done by The Buslab in Berkeley, CA please take the poll and add any comments you feel would be helpful for other folks (like me) who are on the fence. They say they have completed 161 conversions as of 2/10/15, let's see if we can get at least half those drivers to add comments here.
Helpful comments include how long ago you had the upgrade completed (miles or time), any challenges you had with the install, post install problems, customer service from The Buslab, post-install success, etc.
I am not associated with the shop at all, just another Westy driver thinking about adding more money to the pit and looking for advice from folks who have done their conversion with The Buslab.
PLEASE no debates on what is the best conversion, CA legal/SMOG etc., DIY vs. Shop, etc. I just want to hear from folks who have actually done this with The Buslab. Thanks |
