The new Weddle HV2 gearbox. It looks like the casing is about the same dimension as the Vanagon gearbox.

No doubt that's cool, but nearly $10k is a lot for a 2WD box. At that price why not a Porsche G50? Or a reversed Subaru box for almost half that.

Would be nice for sure! But then again, I saw a UN1 trans on ebay for $450 the other day too...

2WD is fairly well covered with options, but what Weddle needs to do is modify that trans to operate as a Syncro box, with "as-built" improvements to all the standard weak areas
