Have any of you received a disturbing email from Greg Hord [email protected] this morning? I'm a bit concern, I hope his account just got hacked and he's not really in trouble.

Good Day,
Sorry for any inconvenience, I'm in a terrible situation. Am stranded here in Manila, Philippines since last night. I was hurt and robbed on my way to the hotel I stayed and my luggage is still in custody of the hotel management pending when I make payment on outstanding bills I owe. Am waiting for my colleagues to send me money to get back home but they have not responded and my return flight will be leaving soon. Please let me know if you can help and I will refund the money back to you as soon as I get back home.

I got the exact email also about him being stuck etc.. in the phillipines but I don't beleive it because I remember getting the exact email about someone else on the samba being stuck in the phillipines also....Gonna email Greg to see if he is aware of this email...

I just called Greg and spoken to his wife. Greg is not in any trouble and he is in USA
This sort of mail has been going around very often and I received a few of them occasionally. So be careful. Check and make sure we are not taken in.

I can assure all my fellow v.w. enthusiast that I am safe but my e-mail was hacked. Been very busy trying to fix what one idiot did to my acct. I am safe here in N.C. Like to get my hands on them or maybe the Bushmaster. It's amazing what one fool can do with your computer.:snipersmile: :snipersmile:  |
