The VW community has lost another to cancer. Kevin Magladrys first ride in a VW was a day after being born. As a kid his family had a 57 Samba as daily driver. Then Dad bought the first Bay window Bus in Humboldt Co. VW was in his blood. He was very versed in the VW aircooled motor. His kitchen table was the center of a few rebuilds. He was also quite the local historian having some of his works published. Kevin put up a courageous 2 year battle w/ bone cancer. Always positive and optimistic about his condition. He will be missed.

That's horrible news, life is far too short as it is, it sucks even more when someone gets short changed.

Does he leave behind a family?, are they taken care of?

May he rest in peace. I did not know him, but know the feeling of friends and family gone way too early in life. God bless him and his family.

Kevin was a really awesome guy. I always enjoyed when he'd swing by the house when I was out front tinkering on the bus. If you saw him driving around town you always got a wave.

RIP Kevin.
