Does this look to be a rear seat that a '63 came with or is it from a later bug? Thx

Is it b/c it has the basketweave material or b/c of the gray material and strap on the back? Thanks

because of the retaining bar, 68 < used a strap to hold it.

Thankyou for response ; Now I know why the back seat I took out of my 63 didn't fit that well ...it has that bar out both sides .
I took the back seat out to fit my fancy folding rocking chair .

| That's funny, that's the same seat that I pulled out of my 63 that the PO stuck in there. It must have been a good swap meet score for them cause the front seats are from a 67. |

Yea that is funny, my '63 too had this seat. I found a seat in rougher shape but its from a '62 so I'll be using that one. Thanks guys for clarifying.
