Wow, that's an ambitious project for your location, I understand the difficulty in finding parts. Good work!

Here's a thread on the Propex, not cheap but an excellent heater.

Here's an assortment of threads that discuss the Eberspacher models.

And here's an assortment of discussions about other portable heat options.

Mehran,

You might contact Sencer Uneri in Istanbul.

http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=59954

He may have a access to the parts that you need. He was able to provide me with a new NOS Bosch vacuum can for my distributor, and seems to have a collection of desirable NOS parts. He may have something for you.

Good luck with your search!

Salaam.

Looking good!
If the 75 diagram format isn't working for you use the diagram for the 1972 bus, the colors and components are mostly the same. There will be a discrepancy with the 3 speed wipers and no fuel injection information but most of the circuits are similar.

The bentley has wiring for both US and euro models.

Are you searching for complete seats....or simply the covering for the metal underneath them? If it is just the coverings, vinyl will actually hold up longer than leather. It does not dry out in the heat and cold (and I know you have both) so quickly. A course wool tweed would work as well and be very durable.

Very nice work!A long time ago there used to be many air cooled VW;s in Iran. I used to live there when I was young.....but that was 1974.

What type of cars do you mostly find in your automotive junk yards these days? Ray

Nice work Mehran! Getting close to done!, I agree with Ray, scour the junkyards for seats from another car, unless you are willing to pay shipping for VW seats from elsewhere.
