On a 1600DP AS41 case, in order to fit a 92mm or 94mm piston/cylinder, what does the OD size (in mm) of the opening in the case need to be so the cylinder slips in? Thanks

About .010-.013" larger then the bottom register of your cylinders. I have found AA cylinders slightly larger then old mahle's.

Here you go. The case opening for "traditional" 92's would be the same as for 90.5; that is, 92 "thin walls". 92 thick walls would use the same case bore as 94's. http://www.geneberg.com/cat.php?cPath=1_31

Thanks, that's what I needed. Probably going to get thickwall 92s and bore to 97.25 or maybe use 94s.

When I use 94's I cut the case for 92's and have the cyl cut to fit the 92 spec. This way you have more sealing surface for the base of the cyl.
