I had a cracked boot on my 74 thing..so I decided to pull/clean and grease both the drivers side cv joints..both joints, balls and housing all looked good but one was kind of tight (but not to tight) it didn't move as freely as the other..I installed/then jacked the car up so that I could turn the tire/wheel around so that I could get to all the CV bolts . I noticed when I turned the wheel about 180* there was some resistance each time around...could this be caused by the one CV joint that didn't move as freely? is this bad?

May be a flat spot on one of the balls. How close did you check them?

Back of the brakes and see if you still encounter resistence. Drum may be slightly out of round.
