All accessories (also Astschutz and rollbar / VAG and winch) or optional except the wheel and tire combination and the elect. Glass sunroof were already installed upon delivery in 1988 and also entered. (The original vehicle documents from 1988 is available)
The rear part of the double cabin is clad on the sides and the floor clean with Aluriffelblechen. The rear seat can be folded up to be able to transport more. Both differential locks function properly, only the air conditioning needs some refilled.
The motor (ATM ca.80000 km mileage), front, Visco clutch and many other wear parts were replaced or revised. Evidence are largely in place.
The total mileage of the speedometer Doka corresponding statement: 251000 km first owner was a hunting estate in Dusseldorf, second owner then has cherished after 10 years a private citizen of the car until his death.
The Doka was painted about 8 years ago to about 70% from the outside and has a little age-related signs of rust. An otherwise it is really clean and well maintained!
It is an absolute collector's car! For this reason, the price is even slightly negotiable.
Please only call if really there is interest, or make an appointment to visit. |

It's the Diavia A/C. For Dokas and sunroof buses it was an option from factory. |

What I see is a very well done, nicely appointed doka syncro with parts and pieces including Vw options added. What I'm not entirely convinced of is it ** technically ** being a jadgwagen, all of which I've seen so far were '89's except for the prototypes.
The roll cage was an option for any doka, the rear rack is a replacement with larger tubing, the rear fold down bench seat replaced the Jagd twin seats with cooler in the middle, etc. But VIN checking and other sleuthing would be needed to fully confirm.
Love the color and other appointments though right down to the rocker protector tubes. |

Looks like its a monitor. The lower horizontal section is the a/c. The upper pod is strange. |

The ad says rust, and there is rust. I can see that, even on pictures. We had almost every version of the T3, from 1979(bought new) to 1993, in our family
I hope the link works: http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/vw-t3-model-o...1_c01_4201
This Jagdwagen has 150hp and is from 05.89 |

Busman kinda implies that the WBX6 could be ordered as an option from VW. Is this true? _________________ Casey--

@Zeitgeist 13 Yes, it's true. Back then, the VW salesman gave you a Oettinger brochure when you asked for more power. The syncros had just the 3.2l 140hp for about 29000DM as an option. The 3.7l 2wd was about 45000DM. For that money you could have bought a new BMW 520i. The most expensive VW T3 was a Caravelle Carat Syncro 16" WBX6 with full leather interior for 188000DM. Franz 'the Kaiser' Beckenbauer had one. |

Somehow, my m-code sticker made it into Busman's great Jagdwagen article:
My Jagd 16 didn't come with a lot of cool options, but it DID have a winch, which the PO must have removed:
(I can only imagine that it is sitting in a dusty garage somewhere near the Czech border)
I would LOVE to get this vehicle back to orig. equipment! If anyone has a winch or any winch-related parts, PLEASE PM me! I will pay any price. Thanks!

Same Jagd? I’ve never seen another one with this style rear seat or the exoskeleton in the rear that tapirs inwards.
