I have repleaced the synchronmesh and the slider on 3-4 gear.
And now it stays in 4th gear Very Happy but only in the 4th the tranny makes a funny noise.
Is this due to new parts or is this an assembly error??

you need to tell us more about the noise. Or post a video.

Is it a howl? Reduction boxes do that. Have you ridden in a split bus before to compare?

Link

at 0:36 sec hear the difference when I switch it in 4th gear and at 0:44 back to neutral.
In 1st, 2nd and 3th is does not make that funny noise.
The axel and rgb are not connected.

Humor me...

So you are running this out of the Bus with the engine? Is it full of gear oil? And there are no axles or side gears installed?

yes, yes, no.
indeed I'm running the transaxel outside the bus en half full with gear oil and no axel.
this is a quick and durty trick to test the new 3-4 gearslider and setting of the shift fork.

Shocked

A rubber bung with the dimensions 73mm x 63mm x 50mm will exactly fit into the axle hole (of a swing axle transmission) and will keep the oil inside the transmission.
something like this: http://www.sim-products.com/dl.php?nr=9303016

Did you end up using the new 4mm fork and the new 5mm operating sleeve (as the photos showed) together? Or did you use different part(s) for proper parts compatibility ?

At any rate, IT IS A COMPLETE CRAPSHOOT SETTING THE FORK ACCURATELY WITHOUT A JIG.

I'm still waiting for the parts, as discribed.
(The 3-4 gear shiftarm and driveshaft is bolted on the backside of the tranny, I gues the JIG has no influence on this setting)
In the meanwhile I have purchased an identical tranny out of a bug.
The idea was to flip over the differential, and put it in the bus (small nut RGB)
But the gear ratio is 4.3xx and the bus has 4.1xx
So I used parts out of this bug tranny, there look identical.
(thanks mr. Lang voor the tip)

Question; wat should be the clearance of the pinon en drive shaft?

0,25 mm (0,009 inch) the outerrace of the bearing is above the surface

old and (new) slider

That sounds like a forced harmonic vibration like when a dry shaft chatters inside its bushing or bearing seat.

Thanks, It is a quick en dirty setup for testing the 4th gear.
I will connect the axels and RGB and fill it up with oil.
