I am restoring a split window for a customer and he wants to put a pealit banjo steering wheel in it. I found him one that needed some work. He asked me if I would make a mold to recast it with new material as he wants it to last for a long time. I am almost finished with repairs and will make a mold and will be able to recast this type of wheel soon.

Just casted the first pealit banjo wheel. Wheel casted very well. It might not look like it right now but finished product will be very nice.

Here is the finished wheel with horn ring and nos rising sun/moon button. I want to thank Gary at Brezelwerks for supplying mounting hub for horn ring. I had bought wheel and horn ring with a broken center hub. Gary made the mounting hub pieces to install horn ring onto wheel. Finished wheel came out very nice. Very Happy

Ruben,
This is amazing work and I just saw this after I sent you an e-mail.
If I find a steering wheel for a price that is rough. How much does it typically cost to recast this wheel? How are the spokes restored inside the wheel? Tim
