Thanks Joe, keep the photos coming. It feels like forever since I went camping, but I guess it was only January. It'll have to be a Fall Moab trip this year for me. |
Perhaps I will join you after I settle in in my new digs, location yet to be determined, but much closer to Hans and you |

Absolutely. You moving this way, Jeff? Both Colorado and Utah are pretty nice. I don't have confidence to say when my van will be road trip ready, but I don't want to miss the whole season. If the rains would stop for more than a day, it would help.

Sitting here in cold and rainy (again) Denver, so why not post some photos from a happier time.

And a few more:
The new solar panel worked great!
My brother was concerned about the rain; not to worry, I told him. This is why we have Westfalias.
Dave and Jack, great travelling companions.
And finally, an ill-fated attempt at Loveland Pass. It looked fine up there from Silverthorne, but it wasn't even close to fine, not at all. We had to turn back and take the tunnel. What was I thinking?

Having both events back to back weekends was so much fun and much more logistically possible to go to both. Hope it can happen again this year. _________________ Syncronize it!

Is there an update/confirmation on the dates for 2016? I need to finalize my vacation dates very soon, as do my co-pilots
Thanks,

Yes it's confirmed! I believe we have the full campsite reserved 19-22 and one of the sites for Wednesday the 18th. _________________ 1986 Canadian Syncro Westy TDI - 1989 Syncro Single Cab - 2001 Audi S4 - 1981 VW Caddy ABA - 1980 VW Caddy EV - 1973 VW T-181 |

Hi folks. This year's Solstice looks so incredible, and we hope you are able to make it. We are about 5 weeks out, and today is the last day to register and get all the driver goodies, including cup, frisbee and reusable SolsticeSac. Some suppliers require a significant lead time. We expect 75-80 vans again this year which is our limit. If you havent been, this will be an incredible year. If you have, well, we cant wait to see you again! _________________ On a mission, the destination is just an excuse.
Syncro Solstice 2022...see you there!
