Are you a purist or are you into restification?

I tend to have rather modified vehicles (baja bug, F-150 6-cylinder w/ turbo off an Iveco bus, ect.) I like a vehicle to suit my needs and wants. However, I wouldn't cut up a pristine vehicle, or ever look down upon the stockers. I do, however, have a problem with those who insist I am evil for cutting into a bug, regardlesss that it was destined for the crusher.

well, i've only got one vw, so i'm not really one to talk, but i'm young, so i like the modified look, which is why i now have this:

if you're wondering, it came with the windows like that, and actually with one piece front windows, but they didn't roll up, so i tossed 'em.

I say its a car, do what you like. But be prepared to take a little crap or praise either way. If you like restored cars, more power to you, custom great, whatever. Lately Ive had a craving for a slightly modernized interior , 17in rims, stock body, and a couple of rare accessories to boot.You know the best of both worlds.
