VW steering wheel hubs info?

Anyone know what year/type VW steering wheels fits what date range, etc? Like 21 spline 3 spokes fits, 19XX - 19YY VWs, etc. I know early 60s bus has a keyed hub with no spline, are they only found in splitty bus. I'll be basically be modifying a bunch of stock VW wheels so would like to know what stuff will fit what models, etc. Thanks Wink

Type 1s (Beetle & Ghia) used the same steering column up to 59. The splines in the steering wheels changed in 1956 from course to fine, but the cars still used the same course splined column till 59

1960-72 had a much smaller diameter column than previous years.
