I have two full sets of wide five stock center rims, some altered, some stock , some 14", some 15" all of which can be used in different combinations for different looks and for different purposes;
#1 All street. 15x6 rear, 14x5.5 bus rims up front with 70's
#2 "The Mullet"...all business up front and party in the back.
#3 All about the rear...rear 15x6 from first photo up front, combined with the mudders
#4 Offroad. Fronts are stock 50's era 15x4.5s with 15x7.00 Nancos
It is very drivable with all of these different combinations. I think I would use combo #4 up here in the slop of the PNW, and #3 for the desert. #2 pic had the headlights staring at the ground. #1 pic the car handled like a large scale gokart, and burned rubber for a block. |

Vintage Mickey Thompson Torque Thrusts, 15X6" with 205/60/15 front and 15X8.5" with 245/60/15 rear (plan is to go
bigger on the rear tires when these need replacing).

Rocket Racing Injector wheels 15x4 and 15x8's... wanted something like a modern slotted mag wheel. I like them. They come polished or a powdercoated cast aluminum finish.

Vintage Cal-Parts San Jose, CA with Avon CR6ZZ vintage racing tires.
245/60 on 9x15 and 155/78 on 5x15.
Sorry for the unfair advise, because you will not find the rims in this dimensions. I had them re-welded.

Finally finished.. need help with tires. I have 15 on rear with n-50-15 tires on 12" rims and 14 on front with g-50-14 on 8" rims I would like to go a touch smaller on both any ideas. 1600cc stock with stock stance on clone.[img]

Well? I went through this entire thread looking at all the wheels. These are GREAT!! Lots of good ideas.
One thing that I noticed was missing. No one here has a buggy with the Fuchs Porsche Alloys. Is this a wheel that just doesn't appeal to many buggy dudes?

This was my old buggy that I sold a few years ago. Fiberfab with modified fenders to fit the rims. 6X16 front & 9X16 rear, with Porsche 911 brakes. The wheels are probably worth more than the buggy now. LOL Tom Iacoboni

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!! To me, those just look RIGHT! ... and yours are(were?) fully polished too. ...really good looking.
My future build plan will be all VW and with a Type 4 engine. I think that is should reflect some more of its Porsche breeding.
