More progress on the engine cover. Both rear corners are welded in, just need smoothing

Started setting up the bmw hinges. These should allow me to hinge the hood at the front and still up the hood all the way without hitting it against the back of the cab.

Completely mounted the new hood hinges. Also made a support framework to sandwich between the hinges and the hood.

I spent some time applying a little body filler to the rear fenders yesterday. Today, I sprayed them (spray can) with some Rustoleum prof. grade bed liner. I am happy with the way it turned out.

Apparently Block Hugger headers and urethane engine mounts do not play well together!
Wrapped the headers where they immediately surround the motor mounts. If the mounts do not melt any further, then I will install new ones.
Also boxed in the area between the front of the radiator and the back of the side air scoop to keep hot engine compartment air away from the front of the radiator.
