NIGERIAN SCAMMER - This individual who is going by "Ben Brown" is a unusually informed and articulate scammer who knows ask about PPI's and the importance of service records. He is not a registered Samba member.
He contacted me about a listed car and asked for service record copies, including the title, and said he was going to schedule a PPI. His email account is US based, and says he lives in Huston.
Tracing it back to the source, his IP address is 197.22.99.199 which is traced to Lagos, Nigeria...
I pointed this out in my last email to him. Have not heard back! |

| Quick action. I notified the 'Mail.com' provider and they agreed, and deactivated that email account. I'm sure this mole will pop up under a different name again. |

Yes, there are new ones pretty much every day in the wild.
A lot of them get blocked here almost every day based on various criteria but unfortunately that one made it through.
None of the IPs he used here were Nigeria but they were random ones all across the USA, probably compromised web servers that people use to send out mail.
