Not too much new here! Been building some of these Sand Scorcher based buggies. 95% vintage aftermarket parts. They're built like 70s VW based desert race buggies and still use the VW style front axle. I'm almost done with a super rare version of this buggy that's 4wd too. This is mostly what I collect these days.

Also been building a lowrider Bug.

It's all scratch built. Lots of 3d printed parts.

custom built 6ch 2.4ghz radio. Pistol grip with a switch box for simulated hydraulics.

It's a pretty slow process but should be done in a couple months.

how's that? They have joints though. I think a live axle is straight, no joints, right?

It's coming along pretty slow! The chassis is about ready to break down for polish, paint, dye, etc. The body is in it's silver base coat. I need to get the paint masks cut for the next color though. Need to find a local vinyl shop that can knock that out this week. Also waiting on the servos I want to use to get back in stock. They probably won't be in until next month though. It's a slow process! I'm ready to wrap this one up so i can get on with other projects.

Slowly coming along. Next I've got to get the graphics in the silver insert areas, clear/wet sand/polish, and then all the body trim can go on.
