Thought there might be some interest in seeing this bus
Less than 100 miles since 1990.
Still wearing it's original rubbers!
Original paint
Original window sticker
Original engine
Original interior
Original Headliner
I will have the bus at OCTO and Prado for everyone to study and document the details. _________________ Transporter Restorations

From a car like this it would be perfect to have hundreds of pictures of the details made in the factory. _________________ -58 Typ2 ambulance

Incredible bus Doug, wish I could make it to LA for the shows to inspect this bus.
I like that fact it has a hitch and accessories on it.
Would love to hear more of the back story and history as well when you get time.

Wow! I can't wait to check it out.
The sign in it says 1962 but it's a '63 correct?
I'm curious what they were towing back in the day.
Towing with a 40hp must have pretty slow.
Stuff I noticed right away:
Clear front turn signal lenses:
Emergency knob replaced with later red one?
Riveted walk-thru panels:
And of course the various accessories like trim rings and bumper guards. _________________ How to Post Photos

i used to tow with a 40 horse, works just fine. The only real issue i see is that unlike germany where the tow speed limit is 50 miles an hour, which it does ALL day, here everybody wants to go 65+. 40 horse does not want to go 65 all day, even without a trailer. _________________ regards

So I'm guessing you are not driving it to the shows, little to nice? I am stoked, I get to see it in like 6 days! _________________ 1971 Deluxe Sunroof Bay 1905 stroker, dual idf40's, 74mm Scat forged crank, engle 110 cam. CB 044 heads, AutoCraft rockers, chromoly push rods

Sick bus. Way crazy it survived in Wisconsin in that good of shape.
Weird it's a 63 with clear signals. |

Bus can't be too late, it has outie vents.
My all OG 5/64 had a red knob and my pretty OG 7/63 Deluxe does not so I think that is a '64 thing.
My '63 has a regular solid white knob. _________________ How to Post Photos
