I recommend big heads, low compression ratio for street turbo. You can get the same final cylinder pressure with high compression, low boost, or low compression, high boost. I prefer low compression high boost because you're burning more air/fuel. More power. Boost increases displacement. Compression does not. Then you can cruise no problem off-boost (99% of time). Enjoy!

I'm running 76cc heads. Comp is 7.2:1. 40 X 37.5. Then I can run 15 lbs boost on pump gas. (with water/meth).

I'm running 7.8:1 compression.
I'm using 52 cc chamber DRD 40X37.5 heads at 22 lbs boost with WI on 92 pump gas.

My 1915:

7.3:1, 64cc 044 CNC round port heads, zero deck, .060 copperheads, Garrett T3, CB EFI intakes and EFI by Megasquirt/ignition by EDIS (crank trigger). Hauls azz at 15 lbs, that was with no intercooler. Shooting for 20 when I get it back on the road, with a PWR barrel cooler and ice.

770CFM four-barrel, T60-1, 44x37.5 ported and polished/port matched end castings, FK8 + 1.4 rockers, 84x94mm, mahles + powersleeves and copper heads gaskets, 8.3:1 CR. The carburetor is built by Ron Lummus and stays slightly rich ON BOOST 10.8:1 to 11.2:1 from 10 to 30psi.. and without changing jets. No dealing with lean flat spots and stumbles. Also brought heat up to the manifold with oil lines to keep the fuel from icing or puddling in addition to cooling the oil. I've never seen temps above 210 in stop and go traffic and only runs on two barrels off boost. Secondaries open up on boost and at WOT you see your life flash before your eyes. I've been overwhelming busy with work/travel but stand by for dyno results.

So I think I have decided on 40x37.5 big valve heads and 92 think wall cylinders. And will probably shoot for a cr of 7.5-1 . I will start assymbling lower soon. My question is since my case is stroke reliefed do I need to trim my cam bearing down where it hangs over the saddle from when the clearance the case or do I leave it? Thanks also think I've decided on fitech f.i. from lowbugget.

Not sure why you wouldn't just go blow-through if you want fuel injection.

The kit from lowbugget is pretty cheap and had a dash display.seems to be pretty user friendly. Plus I am already running a draw through set up so I don't have to change anything

So... story of my life more bad luck....lol. started assymbling motor got cam bearings in, crank put together and went to pull bolts out of rods all but one of the rods were fine. Got to the last one and they were snug and couldn't get with a wrench to I zipped it with impact and pulled threads out of the cap. Is this repairable or does anyone e have just 1 empi 5.4 h beam rod lying around? Sucks lol
