| Can someone tell me what the thread pitch is for the big M12 bolts that hold the engine and transmission together? Thanks |

ah there's two types
coarse is 1.75 and fine is 1,1.25, 1.5
most likely it's a coarse thread into alloy |

It is the same thread as the 12mm diesel head bolts. I can't find the pitch anywhere for you. I think I might have a bolt laying around that I could put my pitch gauge on. I would be inclined to get new bolts from the dealer that are application specific. mark

I think he is looking for the bellhousing bolts to bolt up to a diesel block. The bulk of the bolts are 12mm.

Ahh, yes, I totally missed his sig line.
So the diesel bellhousings are drilled for M12's? Didn't know that.
