Early notice I know, but Sergio talked to KQ and they invited us back for early Fall. We are limiting it to 25 buses. Tent trailers are cool as usual but must be pulled by a bus. Anyway, spots are filling up fast and we have 16 spaces left at this point. Do not invite anyone unless you clear that person with Serg or I first. As usual camping is free, the comradeship the best and the pool hopefully open by then.
For the cruise we will take a known route which winds through the back country on broken and dirt roads and ends up at Nickle Brewing.
The only complaint we got this year is about dogs. Campground rules and common sense dictates that dogs be kept on a leash at ALL TIMES no exceptions. We do not want to jeopardize our access to the space so if this is a problem leave Fido at home. Also no pit bulls, again, Campgound rules.
Anyway, let me know if you are interested. I am taking reservations now.

We have 20 comfirmed spaces filled. Have five spots left. If you have already confirmed with me back in April I don't need to hear from you,i got it down. Only people who have not confirmed need to let me know if they are interested.

KQ has moved their annual KQ Dog Fights and Bear Baiting Festival to the following weekend. To insure that no dog gets a home field advantage they have banned all fighting dogs from the camp until that weekend.

Have 29 buses confirmed for the KQ Campout and Cruise. We will make space for one more and if anyone cancels I will post up that there is a space available.

Update on spaces..? Myself and a friend (Albert, 2 Buses) will be in the area Friday night. If there's 2 spots for Saturday night let me know. If not its cool, we planned but backed out now we are back on for a trip in the Julian area. Thanks!

While tent trailers are welcomed at this BUS event we do want to remind everyone it is a bus event and that the campground gives us free access on the condition that we show off our buses so we have to make sure that when people enter the circle that's what they see. We also are gong to have way more buses than anticipated, maybe 35, so Serg and I are asking that people put their trailers BEHIND their buses so we can fit the buses all in the inner ring and the outer ring will be for tent trailers. Please do not park your trailers next to your bus in the ring, we will need every foot of space to wedge all the buses in.
Tents and pop ups are ok in front of buses since they Dont block them off completely. Basically we want to make sure that your bus is seen as well as everyone else's.
Also, Serg is requesting that people leave their dogs at home as the campground has complained about it, so no dogs, sorry.
Lastly, remember its first come first served, no reserving spots.

Everything is set to go, looks like great weather, though a bit chilly Saturday night, and the folks at KQ are excited about us coming up. Please remember this is a free event and we have a lot of buses to pack in so when asked to park somewhere in a certain way consider that we have to squeeze 35 buses into the space and maintain access and our traditional circle.
Also, remember no dogs, and quiet time a the campground is 11pm so no music after then.
If anyone gets lost or breaks down en route my number is 619 632-8762.
Safe travels and look forward to seeing everyone up there.
