Beware of this guy
Watch out for this guy he emailed me asking about an NOS Empi Imp plans booklet and wanted to pay thru a bank transfer. I have never given my bank info on the internet and never will. So he tells me he doesn't use PayPal but he is a Big Time buyer of Empi items. He say his friend will send a deposit thru PayPal and pay the balance at a later date. I told him someone else was asking about this booklet and I did not want payments when they had the full amount to contact me to see if I still had it. He got mad and starting sending me really nasty emails. After about 3 or 4 nasty emails I told him I would never sell him anything. I deleted the ad and he would go to different ads and threaten me with more nasty emails. He had some of his friends in Belgium try to buy the booklet for him and I asked if it was for him then I forwarded his nasty emails and his friends also said WoW this guy is really nasty.
After about 20 emails from this guy I contacted the Samba and this negative feedback is the result.

Here's is an email from one of his friend he had try to buy the booklet
Ouahh this guy is really nasty
I perfectly understand why you don't want to sell him anything
Unbelievable
This guy said he's not my friend I just sell him Empi parts
I can see why no one claims to be his friend |

| Watch out for this guy. He is now sending nasty emails to my daughters address. Beware if you sell him something he might do the same to you and send you nasty emails as well. Beware |

Not glad that this guy is still around, but I'm relieved that my gut reactions are reaffirmed.
First messaged that he'd make two seperate payments over Paypal for NOS some Empi gauges, one would appear on the import paperwork and one would cover the rest of my asking price. Okay, sure, fine, but I'm not liable for any insurance claims above what's on the paperwork for an overseas shipment.
Immediately steered the discussion from how to arrange payment to why I'm not including parts that aren't included (I don't have them) and that he expects them to be included, and that without them he's not paying. Sent multiple messages to the effect of demanding other parts be included, despite telling him that I don't have those parts. Told him after a week of this to stop wasting my time or his.
Sounds like I probably dodged a bullet. |
