Has anyone tried coating their engine tin with a ceramic coating? If so, did it reduce your engine compartment temps?
Cheers,

I'm sure it would help, but does anyone really have trouble with overheating a 36hp engine? Maybe with a Judson or Pepco/Speedwell...
If your tins/oil cooler are in place you should have no issues.
In the Texas summers my engine still runs cooler than optimum in my opinion, oil temps around 190 |

I'm having my home-brew manifolds, muffler with heat risers deleted, and a few other doodads ceramic coated. I'll post pics when I get 'em back but it'll be a long ways out until I can test them.
edit: The manifolds are for dual 28 PCIs I got from Tim @ VolkzBitz.com Thanks Tim! _________________ 1964 Beetle |
