Has anyone tried coating their engine tin with a ceramic coating? If so, did it reduce your engine compartment temps?

Cheers,

Paul

I'm sure it would help, but does anyone really have trouble with overheating a 36hp engine? Maybe with a Judson or Pepco/Speedwell...

If your tins/oil cooler are in place you should have no issues.

In the Texas summers my engine still runs cooler than optimum in my opinion, oil temps around 190

I'm having my home-brew manifolds, muffler with heat risers deleted, and a few other doodads ceramic coated. I'll post pics when I get 'em back but it'll be a long ways out until I can test them.

edit: The manifolds are for dual 28 PCIs I got from Tim @ VolkzBitz.com Thanks Tim!
