What is the finish of your roll cage? Is it a satin textured finish? _________________ Manxter DS #32

Story behind that.
I had it powder coated and wanted a fine texture. Well it came out like 120 grit sand paper. Barf. Lighted sanded and sprayed rust bullet black shell. Finish was real spotty as my paint techniques suck. So I started to fog it. Actually came out decent.
Pictures on page 7
Cage covers will cover most of it.
Pictures are posted
I work right at orangethhope and Richfield , would love to stop by someday and see your masterpiece.

That doesn't happen to be the cardinal T241 BK 59 from performance powder coating is it? That's what I plan on putting on my cage. If you were unhappy with it, I may have to possible reconsider. _________________ Manxter DS #32

Don't know the color of powder coat that was used. There is a shop by you: Mavrick powder Coating on Hunter. Lots of sample colors, nice clean shop and nice guy, may want to check it out. _________________ dbsmith

I always wanted a finish on the metals parts that I could touch up or easily re-paint when it got scatched. I sampled and played with few different approaches. Wasn't big on the powder coat even through a superior finish, I could not do it myself. I like the upol bed liner, especially on the back side of the fiberglass. I wish I would have done the whole body. We will see how the side bars hold up.
But I really like the way the steel and aluminum came out when I sandblasted it and sprayed the VHT Clear Matte Wheel Paint.
On the left is the aluminum and steel on right

No cave this year. I've been renting a neighbor's 2 stall garage just a few houses away. The yearly rent for the garage is less than I was paying for the winter at the mine/cave. And it's closer, so if we have a freak nice day in the spring I can get it out sooner.
Your buggy is so close. Get busy!
