before it's gone take a look at the Riviera Vista cruiser with it's original interior layout. it's open to the hightop all the way to the back
you sit up over the engine hump in the dinette/bed.
only VW interior I know of with stairs/steps.

My NEW to me 68' Hightop!!! (name pending), It has no interior (yet) just front seats and a full width Z-bed I just scored (74/75'ish?) I'm gonna to do homemade cabinets/shelves.. see where it goes, not going to pretty it up, exterior leaving as is, gonna address the rust issues inside and out but that's it.. maybe some General AT tire "Grabber" super excited! I have a 71 Deluxe

My expirence with them has been they are much more rust free as --seems they were more like owning a motor home than a daily driver- so less salt and better floors.
Many are leery because of the perceived cross wind driving- but I never noticed it- passing big rig head on can be a challenge- but always stayed on the road- but never stored my motorcycle up there either. _________________ some days I get up and just sit and think. Some days I just sit.

Big sway bars and konis solve my problem with the wind and big trucks.

love those tires- I'm having trouble getting mine to fit the wheel wells in the back--maybe 205's are too big.
Tell us about that front bumper and light bar

Those are jeep bumpers modified to fit the bus. The light bar is home made. .

my NEW 68 almost road worthy I imagine I'm going to have to tell the wife sooner or later, been hiding it at my buddy's place since Oct while working on it, not going to pretty it up , leaving the exterior ugly and dented, fixed most of the interior and underneath rust. I'm torn with names "Ugly Betty" or "Bay-Dillo" I'm in west Texas It has full width Zbed, working on cabinets

Hey, is anything thinking of selling their adventurewagen/high top? I've recently sold my Westy, so looking for something different. Preferrably an original early adventure wagen.
Kind regards |

Getting lots of work done outside since it won't fit in my garage. Hope to have it driving by summer.
