Greetings,
That's pronounced "be ugly".......
Before somebody goes off about destroying a VW to make this, let me tell you that I destroyed TWO cars to make this......
Well, actually, they were both totaled in accidents, one in front and one in back - so I was er ah... recyclin' - YEAH, THAT'S THE TICKET!
The front half from right behind the shifter forward is from a 69 bug that got rear-ended by a dump truck.
The back half is from a 71 super beetle that met a tree in front....
Very loosely based on a Empi Sportster I took pics of at a VW show some years ago....
I built this around 1999 and it still serves me and the family well around the farm in central Texas.
I've got lots of pictures during the construction somewhere...anybody interested?

very creative, and i love the paint job
and in all honesty, nobody would really give a shit about a 69 standard and a 71 super. which is why we love to cut them up for our projects

| I don't think it's ugly, just missing something. A .50 cal mounted to the roll bar maybe. |
