Progress on the kitchen sink ;67 up 12 volt accessory ; if you install one of these be prepared by having an extra long bolt to replace the standard fender bolt and the 66 gas vent tube has to be moved too .

Side Lights ; My first concern is long term safety over originality.

Kitchen sink progress ;
Stove was supposed to be tucked in the back but the depth of the basin and drain changed that ;
anyone concerned with safety please remember this is ONLY used by me ...
Note ; If you ever need a 9 inch round stainless sink ; marine supply price $149.00 or..
Twisted Evil .....go to Pet Smart...9 inch dog bowl $9.99...(Would you believe that idea came all the way from milkedroy in ENGLAND )
Faucet and drain are on their way .. Very Happy

Put in an electric crotch cooler with parts from West Marine ( bilge blower ,vent line and interior vent )
I wanted extra venting while camping with the windows closed ( rain )
I did put screen over the end to keep the bugs out .
The vent on the inside is just below the package shelf .

Hey Pete, what are you gonna do about that back bumper? Are you gonna leave it as that '68+ one or are you going to get one with towel bars? I cant wait to see this thing in a different color! It will be interesting to see it out of the usual silver and purple.

HI . NOTE ; that isn't a back bumper ...... It is an air duct to get cooling air into the back of a Type 3 engine .. the modified bumper and the extension provide more air than the original Square back that the engine came out of .
. I am changing the silver gray to bright white ; the silver spray paint wasn't going on evenly....

Are you sanding the whole thing with a DA or do you have a jitterbug too?

I've always used an orbital sander ( the red and black thing on the roof ) . The DA is new to me

What do you use to stick that sandpaper to the board? Gorilla glue or some equivalent?

Thanks for the reminder of the upcoming QSL gig. I would have totally missed it were it not for your handy thread.
