I see the "High Fidelity" mag there on the floor. What was the other one that was on top of the closet? _________________ "My biggest worry is that when I die, my wife will sell all my parts for what I told her I paid for them"-Jon

The ironic thing is... years ago, Chris used to have that tent (and sold it to Danny Z). |
Wasn't the tent Danny bought from Chris red, green, and white?
I can only think of two blue, orange, and white tents. One Jon F. Bought from New Jersey, this is now in the UK, and the second Eric Z found and sold on eBay. |

Such an awesome bus, and I think we all know Andre is the guy for this one! When was this bus brought over exactly? In Chris' back story he said the PO's bought this around 66, the black & yellow plates ended in 68 in CA if I remember right. Are the plates dated? Also, does the FCG mag show any pics of the dash? If so does the bus in the mag have a Happich (sp?) grab handle on the dash? |

Yes, black plates were 63-68. Since the plate starts near the end of the alphabet (X) it was probably registered with that plate in '68. _________________ EMPI Power Rules! |

I have an orange & white '59 tent and a red & white '59 tent that would be correct for it. I would sell you either one.
You need a '59-'60 slope roof rack. They come up for sale fairly often and usually sell quick. |

Does it have the dealer-fit seat belt mounts wth the bracing that passes through the tool chest under the seat?
If so, could you post a picture? I've seen the technical bulletin, but I've not seen one installed. _________________ Andy

Restoring a Westy takes patience, knowledge and a good deal of time. Its not for the faint of heart. I hope this bus gets the attention it deserves.
Good luck! _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.
