I've officially been gone from Seattle since dec 27th, but I just this morning finally started heading towards Florida in Maisy. I'm going to do any work I can along the way to find gas, and see where I end up.
If anyone between Kansas and Florida and anywhere for that matter has work needed done (anything cars, plumbing, electrical, lifting, cleaning, painting, organizing, or whatever) let me know and I'll head out your way! _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

Wanna come to northern New Mexico and strip all the bedliner off the bed of a single cab? It's just one of those jobs I've been putting off. PM me if you like. _________________ John

Sounds like a fun trip! If you are in Kansas then you'll probably end up in Nashville. I'm on the east side if you need a parking spot, power, tools or want to grab a beer hit me up!

I'll buy you a tank of gas if you can get my brakes to work, but you'll have to turn around and come back to Washington.

When you get down here, the water in lake Okeechobee needs to be changed, and it's that time again for the manatee prostate examinations. Should put a couple of buck in your pocket. |

Happy Trails - carry chains and test fit them when it is dry and warm - you may not need them but nothing worse than needing them and no one has any. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |

currently my budget is to get me to warm weather so if I don't find work I may not ever see snow again! HA!

Well tonight's adventure is a shot alternator that apparently no one can even get...I have a few spares SOMEWHERE...but not sure yet where I left them or if they are any good.
Anyone near here got any handy or for sale?

A part number would help. Also, you might be able to find an auto electric shop that can fix yours. _________________ Lead Mechanic: San Diego Air and Space Museum

Hopefully it won't take you too long to get that alternator, I had one leave me stranded once, until i just bought a new battery and made it 600 miles on the charge.
What part of Florida? I am in Jacksonville for work. _________________ 1979 Deluxe Westy in Mexico Beige |
