There seems to be a never ending supply of questionable paint jobs and customized vans over in Europe. Scanning the mobile.de & autoscout websites shows all sorts of Vanagon weirdness for sale. Every week there's something new and unbelievable.

Why use just one color when you can use all the colors? Cool

I've been watching that ad for a couple weeks. The location of that ladder makes no sense whatsoever.

probably just rests over the door- not attached at the top.

Not saying it makes sense to have it on the driver's door, or from a design standpoint, but seems like that's why it would be there.

Could be the new external jail bars! That ad needs to be posted in the "Nice deals on EVs" thread in the Eurovan forum. Somebody might actually want it at that price.

Man, there were SO MANY great paint jobs on Vanagons, Bays, and Splitties when the good ol Grateful Dead were still touring around... what happened to all those artistic great rides? And I'm not talking about all the VWs that were cut with a torch and welded on top of school busses. Oh well. This thread is more than entertaining Laughing Laughing Laughing .
