I'm not sure what you are trying to show here.

This appears to be an industrial engine so those parts may be standard usage on those engines.

I do wonder why the coil was moved to that position.

I just cleaned-up this unusual 36 HP engine and wanted to share a photo and figured this forum has so many knowledgeable vintage engine folks that they might enjoy it. I believe the coil was moved to accommodate it fitting under a shroud or to maybe show-off the badge behind it. Anyone familiar with this set-up?
