I see the Thing Shop has 15" Thing wheels on sale. Unfortunately they are reproductions. Has anyone bought these and can give me an idea what to expect in terms of quality? I know there are other 15" wheel options out there, but I like the stock look of these.
Thanks

I do not own them, but pretty much anything from TTS is quality from my experience.

ZK-
Looks pretty good to me. The wheels look "stock", and having 15" wheels opens up lots of possibilities for disc brakes and many more choices for tires.

There's really only one disc brake kit compatible with the original 14" Thing wheels; the CSP kit. Very high quality, but somewhat expensive. Brake pads for the CSP's European Delco calipers are not as readily available as those for standard VW calipers used by many aftermarket disc brake kits.

14" tires, though very popular in the past, are becoming rare. There are many more 15" tire choices.

So if you need wheels and tires anyway, I would go 15".

Good luck, Mondshine
