While fixing sheet metal (cut out fit and weld in) on the passenger side, forward of the windshield, but behind the bonnet, I found a small a small
brazed area. Just above the ramp down behind the bonnet lid, on the radiused metal above the fender.

Wondering if this was original or a repair that was unknown to me.
Have had the car in the family since 1983, was mine in 85.
No body work in the intervening 30+ years, so I was curious if
this was original.

Brass was used from the factory at the top of the front body panel, side seam on the cowl dash by the glove compartment rear body seams at the top. I think that was all. Most cars from that time used brass or lead for flex.

To me it seemed like it would have been original,
as no other indications of damages.
