Hard to say if its a good deal without a price, but it does have some cool provenance. _________________ nothing |

Ended at 167 US?!
Keep an eye for buses being parted up here (Canada), I'm pretty sure they came standard and our dollar these days makes things pretty cheap. _________________ 1975 Westfalia - http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=516701 |

Called on this bus today for $2800 obo, and guy already had 10 calls on it. Sold quick! He said it ran & drove great, and had very minimal rust. Wonder if we'll see it pop up on here. Nice score on an Automatic bus

If that is a a good deal, or even a fair deal, it makes me really glad I don't need one. For $8500 I'd buy a $4000 Chevy van and fill the gas tank for a few years with the left over $4500. _________________ nothing |

Yeah: Someone's trying to get their money back from an expensive build.
Someone is a cock-eyed optimist.

78 V.W. Bus - $5000 (cadiz ky)

78 vw bus.. very little rust.. rare automatic transmission. I have two complete engines that will go with the bus. A 1500cc beetle engine and a 2000cc bus engine. An engine will need to be installed..I have a man that will install the bus engine for the beetle engine.. only a couple of small dings in the body, other than that it's really straight.. th bus was last registered in 97, I bought it with a notarized bill of sell. NO TITLE.. but of course one can be obtained.. I'm pretty firm on 5000.. I have way more than way tied up in it.. if you've ever thought of owning one this is a great bus to restore or drive it like it is.. will consider partial trade and cash but I'm needing the money for a family member.. call or text if intetested.. thanks.. |

Hi..
A couple weeks back, I got a small dent on my right doors. A thin line that runs on both doors. No metal exposed.
And I'm in no hurry to get it repaired. I filed a complain with the insurance company and bought some time with the surveyor so I can shop around and compare.
Obviously, the best thing to do is not be in a hurry—like the Merc and BMW drivers—but sometimes I give into the honking and flashing done by the guy (or the Miss,) who wants to zip past me.
