The panel wins! Thanks for voting. I will begin disassembly and prep for rotisserie installation today and start a new thread tonight. Hopefully this thread will die and we can start a new discussion there. Now what to call the new thread?

Really looking forward to seeing you write-up the rockers/floor. I'm sure we all agree the videos are really helpful.

I don't have a suggestion for a thread title.

I was very excited to see you with two junk yard dog VW's. I had a big smile when I saw your username and my first thought was I know I'm not the only one.

You are famous amoung my group of friends and family.

Thank you.

It has to be "Funky Panel" followed by "Funky Double Cab" Cool

The panel's roof reminds me of a Devo Energy Dome:

How about this for a title: "Through being cool" the 1963 Funky Panel restoration

Devo is awesome...

So are road warrior buses. The single cab is beautiful, but this camper panel needs to be a lean mean road tripping camper machine.

You guys have made great suggestions.

The panelvan discussion has moved to
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=8351639#8351639
1963 Panelvan build "Tyvanosaurus Wrecks"

I will answer and post on that page from now on.
Kurt
