Vanagon front and side windows have great view. Their are even camper top and rear views out the back. So many ways to look out of the van.
So post a picture of a great view out of your Vanagon.
This picture is out the side door of Long's Peak in RMNP after a hike we were eating some snacks and just relaxing.

The view out the rear hatch and slider are fundamental to what makes the Vanagon a great vehicle. I see so many Sprinters where the back doors (one of the best features of a Sprinter) are obstructed due to a garage and half the side doors are blocked by a cabinet or kitchen.
Van must haves: slider on the side and rear hatch or rear 270 degree swinging doors with unobstructed views and access.
I just don't have any pics.
These guys get it...

If you choose your parking spot wisely, the Westy windows often offer a great view.

Great thread. Looking forward to seeing photo posts. Since the topic is views, I'll toss in my 2 centavos.
Whenever we leave on a trip, one thing I always do is clean the van windows. Like crazy clean. NAPA foaming window cleaner clean - inside and out. Then I Rain-X all the windows. My wife notices and really appreciates it. There are clean windows, and there are "nothing between me and that fantastic vista" windows.
Its a ritual and also reduces fogging, and if we get into rain it's kinda cool to still have great views because of the Rain-X.

That moose doesn't appear to have a body. _________________ '91 Westfalia GL Automatic (GTA "Turbo" Rebuild w/Peloquin) and 2.3L GoWesty Engine |

On the topics of Moose spotting from westy windshields, here is a picture from my family's 2014 camping trip just outside of Grand Lake, CO:
A mother moose and her twin babies were walking through camp, eating green shoots right next to the westy! Can you tell how stoked my wife and youngest kiddo are!?!?
The front zip-out window (you can see it hanging down in this pic) and front luggage rack make an excellent "safari observation platform". I was on the top bunk with my oldest. The "downside" of photos taken from up there is that they are 100% wildlife with no VWs in the foreground |

Grand lake has lots of Moose see them almost every time we go. The top would be a great spot to look and still be safe. |
