When I select a forum or a thread on a forum I end up at the bottom of that forum or thread. Using the default is the top of the forum or thread.
This just changed. Is there something I did to activate this? Or is it just me?

If you click the green arrow or circle it goes to the newest post in the thread, which would be near the bottom of the page.
This is not new.
If you are clicking the title text to enter the thread or it's an older thread that is not green, it should be at the top and at the first posting for the thread.
If it is going to the bottom for this click, it's you.
There is nothing on the site that does this so something weird with your browser?

That is the answer! Thank you so much for the reply. In all these years I had no idea what those charming little icons actually did.
I think this is another case of clumsy fat fingers working on the iPad screen. That small screen seems to get smaller the older I get.

Ok, great.
In my opinion, it is best to use the green icons most of the time so you can jump to what's new.
I do that for pretty much everything and just scroll up a bit for a review if I am not sure what is going on.
Otherwise you are back at the start of a 3/5/6/100 page thread, which can be confusing.
