| Here in NA VW changed to the rectangular headlamps in '86. '88 for the "big bumpers". |

I have pix from a trip that took me past John's Car Corner a couple of years ago and that van is not in them. Must have missed it.

The van on the left drove in across the field, the other two are jetson style flying vans and landed there for the photograph.

I was down @ John's last Fall & it was there, I think the nose was cut off it...
Epowell, they are all '86 & newer, '85 was the last year of the "Roundies"

Somewhat recently became a multi-vanagon owner. The blue one has been in the family since new and has an insane amount amount of sentimental value to me. I guess that's what helps fuel the addiction. Westy next??

Back in February '14, I had both vans together in one place for the last time.
A week after this picture was taken, both vans were sold.
The brown one in front is the infamous 'Domo' (did the Subi H6 conversion here in Germany), and the blue one is 'Big Blue'.
Selling Blue was very sad for me. We were his second owner (bought in '92, van is '90 Carat). Drove this guy in college, was third vehicle for the family (relegated to dump runs and general cargo duty and people hauling...).
I find it odd though; of the four vans I have had in my life, two were '85 models, and two were '90 models.
