I do like the idea of filling my own shocks and the tank should last a long time.... probably longer than me LOL

The oldest high pressure gas tank I've seen still in use was at a welding supply in Lancaster, CA.

It had a date stamped on the top of 1912.

So I would expect your tank to outlast you and me both, and the rest of 'em too.

The trick to making your regulator and gauge set last is to have some sort of protective cage around it and something to keep the tank from falling or getting knocked down. I just got my Victor gas welding gauge set rebuilt last year and I bought that set in 1986. 30 years of use is pretty good in my book.
