If you are talking about the scraper try rubbing some Graphite into a rag and rubbing the inside of the scraper with it. Buy graphite power at Walmart key section a few bucks, squirt some in your locks while you are at it they will love you. |

I have no idea what you're talking about. But if the new rubber is "grabbing" onto the glass and coming out of the groove, then dust the rubber with talcum powder/baby powder. I encountered this about 20 years ago when I re-rubbered my '71 convertible. Powder starch might work too. _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each. The '71 now has the 1835 engine, swapped from the '70. Not unusual for the new rubber to be grabby. Make sure the window and the rubber is clean. Sometimes they put "stuff" on new rubber that makes it's grab. I usually just put a little spray silicone on a rag and work it into the seal.
