Anyone got any feedback on my carb problem?
I have duel Webber ict 34's on a single port 1500 both ran good until about a week ago
I noticed one carb flooding a constant drip from the accelerator pump jet
I dismantled it cleaned everything all looked good double checked the float height 7mil put it back on and the same constant drip!
Through trial and error I adjusted the float height to where it just stopped the drip runs good now until I go on a half decent drive then feels like fuel starvation from that carb (flat spot at half to full throttle opening)
I'm thinking not enough fuel in the chamber
The needle valve works fine
Any ideas why the float height is no longer working at the recommended setting? |

The float may have absorbed fuel and is now heavy . . .
I have swapped parts (like a pair of floats) side to side during troubleshooting . . . if the problem (like your drip) moves to the other side, the cause of the problem becomes obvious! _________________ Jesucristo es mi Seņor y Salvador! |

Yep crappy new design floats they absorb fuel and become to heavy to set at the correct height
Renew and replace the moder way
Thanks for the advice though! |
