Hi All,
I need your help. I'm looking for some information about details of OEM canvas cover for bay windows.
I would like to see pics of the OEM tilts. I don't know how does the front curtain looks? The most important thing is how the OEM tilt was catch to the partition bettwen the cab and load bed?
Please put here some pics if you have. I will be thankful if you can help me.
Thanks a lot.

Hey, Jacek -
Take a look in my gallery for several photos of original tilts. The blue one was pretty torn up, but the gray one is close to immaculate. I can take more detail photos if you need. Both are PVC, not canvas. Search on "tilt" _________________ John

Hi All,
I have some pics of OEM early canvas cover. Please take a look on the front curtain and tell me how this type of tilt is install behind the cab?! It looks different than in the split window truck. Well I don't know how it would be install?
Take a look.
Cheers,
Jacek C. |

Take a look at the various photos toward the bottom of this web page. There are several that show the attachment process in front.

Here's a photo of an original canvas mounted on a bay crew cab. Does this help?

are they not all the same up front?
they are lashed from the bedside as shown in all the pictures, and on the cab side the material is double on the bottom to have piece that touches the bottom with a tunnel kind of thing (pocket?) with a metal rod in it to keep it from flapping. This will keep the water out of the bed. Might be a stick of lead, but i am not sure. magnetic might actually be better? _________________ regards

Hi
There is some kind of pocket on the bottom of the front courtin as we can see in the pics. Well I can say nothing what for it was?
The question is how the front courtin should be catch up to the divider wall in the cab?
Any idea? Is there someone who has the OEM canvas cover for early bay bus?
Cheers,
Jacek |

I'm unsure whether to post this question here or in the Stupid Question sticky, but here goes...
Why is it called a tilt? _________________ -Kent-
