Here's the commonly seen dealer applied decal on pre 67 VW's
I have NOS one in my 66
Strangely these were never seen in Europe as far as I know, I grew up there and can only guess we knew how to shift gears  |

I recall the long oval shapped silver stickers that reminded one to "Fasten Seat Belt." granddads 65 Bug had them, as did my Dads 63 Microbus, used to see them on other old VWs, was that too a VW dealer thing, or ??????? Maybe it was part of the dealer installed seat belt option?

I believe those were a AAA thing- never a VW decal. And they are seen on all types of old cars at shows.

All that remains of the Fasten seat belt sticker.... Had the remnants in the glove box, but it has "disappeared"
