Thanks, you know I liked the 15 from Drew, but no negotiation, and now he says the bus is gone. How does this 15 compare(from your expert opinion) to the 21 window from overland park?
I've owned 4 bugs, my dad had a green manx, my brother a square back, and a few years ago I drove and put 60k miles on 70 convt gia in 5 years. I've been wanting a bus since 1998. But kids in school and the prices left me, now, do I want to step up? Or do I let it go? This week I saw 130k tesla, the ride was insane, but on the way home I saw a rusted single cab on the freeway and smiled. Opinions?
Thanks to the Samba

21-Window

The 21-Window does not appear to be in the condition of the 15-Window so it may depends on what level of Bus you want to own.
It's also a 21-Window and 21s/23s will always be worth more so if that is a consideration or you want a sunroof Bus I would check into that one as well. I did not look through all his linked photos he mentions but the description seems extensive. _________________ How to Post Photos

I agree.... But I can't stand "offer" ads with so few pictures. Of course, I have rarely gotten a good car from a seller that was easy to deal with... |

Looks like a nice find to me.
I see a big 12-volt sticker on the side of the dash - I wonder if it's an original 12-volt '64. |
Yep, John's a good old schol Vw guy, I hope he does well w/ this one. More pics would be a big help. _________________ Tom

I hope this is the right section to ask this - is there a big difference in quality of front rubber floor mats between manufacturers? I see the price ranges from $110 - $150. Thanks _________________ 73 914 2.0 - sold

Seems like one would be skipping a lot of rust repairs going with this bus. It also seems to have all the glass and camper windows and seller says the tranny is ok. Looks like newer tires and has hubcaps.
I'm surprised its not pending already.

If that bus ^^^^^^ was a running, driving bus. I don't mean just able to start it but an actual driver. Good brakes, lights all working etc. How much more would it be worth.....$3000-$4000? |

I feel that would make it just barely worth what he is currently asking. _________________ nothing |
