My 79 Westy AZ bus to OHio. Covered in a cheap camo stenciling for now. Going to get running and transfer and my other campers interior!

I met and chatted with this guy today (didn't catch his name) at a rest stop between Tucson and El Paso today. Nice guy. Said his bus was a 2000cc but his dad had changed it from FI to a carb. It was idling beautifully. Engine sounded good and strong. Oregon plates on his fully loaded bus. He said he was on his way to Florida Shocked

I asked him what speeds he was cruising at on the freeway. He said 60-65 due to how heavily loaded he was. I passed him several miles down the road in my Honda. Hope his trip is uneventful. Very Happy

Spotted in Salmon Arm, B.C., in 2015 while waiting at a train crossing. Saw him coming down the road and had just enough time to pull out the camera and snap a quick shot

Saw this hightop on 95 in VA today at mm 140. Looks like a deluxe sunroof to hightop conversion given the chrome trim and lack of land electrical hookup.
